All Christians are understandably eager to celebrate Easter. Observing Lent for forty days and contemplating the sorrows of Jesus is less popular. Salvation, however, takes its own time, and it comes at a high price. The road to the empty tomb passes through Gethsemane, and Pilate’s headquarters, and Golgotha. There are no shortcuts.
