The Baptized Life
Paul's teaching on baptism addresses the question: "Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?" The nature of our union with Christ in baptism rules out such a notion. Baptism, moreover, is a continual source of hope, freedom, and life for the believer. Our daily calling is to regard ourselves as dead as the crucified Christ is to sin and as alive as the risen Christ is to God.
